Citroen C-Cactus 2014

Starting next year, Citroen C-Cactus will market at an affordable price but not low cost, as stated Frederic Banzet, patron of the brand.

It will be a C-segment car for Western Europe. A simpler and less expensive drive, foreshadow the future positioning of part of the Citroen range. But Frederic Banzet states that at no time will be a low cost model. The philosophy is to work in a simpler car with a modern and attractive design.

This car will be built at the Madrid factory PSA Peugeot Citroen  and will be primarily intended for Western European markets. The model is directly inspired by the C-Cactus concept car, unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2007 and world 2012.

A competitive price
The number one Citroën has not said anything about the price at which this car could be sold, but has promised to have a very competitive price and above all a cost competitive use. At list price will be below the current line C3.

The positioning and philosophy of the Cube (the name of the project code) prefigures the evolution of the current C range. It is breaking the trend of ever more, to meet the expectations of customers who do not necessarily want all the equipment.
