McLaren P1, 248 units sold in less than a year

When a manufacturer like McLaren launches a hiperdeportivo as P1, the world is revolutionized. We, the fans of the automotive world, we dream to see, touch and the wettest dreams of a humble tester car to drive someday. Others, however, take out your calculator and make accounts to see if they can afford that fancy to complete the team kept in the garage.

That's what they've done 248 people since the McLaren P1 was launched. That is the number of units sold during 2014 hiperdeportivo Woking, which already account for a large percentage of the 375 which is planned to manufacture this model units. These units, along with the other models currently on the market, have made complete in 2014, McLaren has sold 1,648 cars surpassing even their wildest expectations.
McLaren sales grew by 21% over last year, which was the first year of profitability since back in 2010 began manufacturing cars supercars. To achieve this sales figure undoubtedly the dealer network is a key part of success. This year 2014 has added 14 new dealerships in the network, being now composed of 68 outlets worldwide.

McLaren P1 - 650S

McLaren 650S presented at the last Geneva Motor Show, nearly 1,400 units were sold, to which must be added some left in stock 12C. By region, the highest growth has been to Asia Pacific, with 80% growth and the opening of 11 new dealers, has been the strongest. It is followed by North America with 30% growth, 10% Europe and Middle East with a 9% increase.
Certainly it is good figures for McLaren, who seems to have found the path to success with its road cars supercars.
